"I founded Southwest Web Solutions in 2001, specialising in search engine positioning and internet marketing, after having worked at a large web design firm. Many of this design company's customers were not happy with the way their web sites were being promoted to the search engines and were paying a monthly fee for this service with little or no return. Submitting the sites and checking that their url's were listed was simply not enough. After researching the industry from the inside for several weeks I found that with some in-depth analysis of the customers' business and application of a number of search engine optimisation techniques, amazing results were achieved. It was clear to me that there was a demand for a search engine consultancy firm to service the ever growing number of poorly advised companies, and having previously run my own very successful business for many years as a Servicemaster franchisee, I decided to go it alone again. I do not profess to be a top expert in the field of search engine optimisation yet, but I have sufficient knowledge, resources, commercial awareness, common sense, and enough well-placed contacts in the industry to be confident that I can make a significant contribution to the success of any firm with a product or service to sell on-line" 

I am proud to be a member of the British Website Design and Marketing Association although you will probably have noticed that my site does not contain many "bells or whistles". I want it to be simple, easy to use and fast to download.

Well, that might have worked for Kevin Costner, but it won't work for mortals like us.

I have seen too many firms wrongly, in my opinion, allocate the lion's share of their website budget to designing 'pretty pages' with too many slow loading graphics and little or no thought to the marketing and promotion of their site. You wouldn't throw a party without sending out invitations!
